Pros

The company are very flexible in their approach, and have supported me to carve out a successful career that works for me, making reasonable adjustments to my responsibilities, and taking the time to understand my motivators and ambitions. The company are transparent, with very clear objectives and KPI data which can be accessed at anytime, so you always know where you stand. The bonus and commission criteria are very clear, and the company don't try to find reasons not to pay you (which can't be said by all recruitment companies). You're given a high degree of ownership and autonomy in your role, and the SMT are very open to listening to ideas, for example, if there's a new area that you'd like to focus on developing, the company will support you to do that. The company invest, we have access to some fantastic software, and all of the tools needed to make success as a consultant as straight forward as possible - the company really do want you to do well. The offices have recently undergone investment, and we have some absolutely fantastic meeting rooms and break-out facilities. Free parking on site. Good employee benefits including pension, healthcare, salary sacrifice schemes etc. Staff retention is good, with decades of experience in every office, there is always someone who can answer your questions. Excellent back office support, from contracts, screening, marketing and finance, making work as streamlined as possible.

Cons

Training tends to be ad-hoc and on the job, but the recent introduction of more structured training will help with this. Parking is limited at some locations, but overflow parking facilities are offered.

Thank you for your feedback and I am pleased to hear that you enjoy working here. Your comments about training are totally valid and hopefully you will see some more structure coming in from HR in the final quarter of this year.

Pros

Lovely people to work with and never any office politics really, there's good access to job boards, though linked in recruiter licenses are often moved around from person to person. Feels much more like a family feel business. They have some good clients on their accounts. The team activities were really fun.

Cons

Stagnant working processes sometimes. KPI driven, managers aren't supportive and regularly don't check in, which was difficult to manage early in recruitment career. Business development was the main focus of the job role I felt, as the brand/name wasn't out there as much as the huge agencies.
