Pros

- Meet people from all walks of life - Office workers and the engineers sometimes really do care - Good equipment and hardware - "VIP" access in a lot of places, on turn-arounds/contract jobs you rarely ride a bus or feel clueless, usually you either ride in with a company truck or have a TNT vehicle pick you up. - They usually host NCCCO training/retraining right there on the yard and pay for people who they feel show initiative. - They appreciate you escalating things your uncomfortable with and will personally promptly supply you with help

Cons

- Cut throat, the possibilities for advancement usually require you to befriend the right person or but it is possible to move up if you avoid being around all types of gossip and drama (difficult in this company/industry) - Questionable labor laws, you write down your own time, turn it in weekly and it gets reviewed, if the reviewer does not agree with your time (say you worked late and your supervisor never informed anyone) they will alter your time without ever notifying you and it's very difficult to state your case once you've learned your short a few hours. - It's a 24/7 crane and rigging rental/contractor company, you will never have an idea what your schedule will be and you most likely get informed late notice. This is mainly due to the clients however TNT believes the customer is always right, so you may show up to work one morning and 2 hours later your told to go home and that evening you'll start night shift at a place hours away. There is no on-call pay, and they will mess with you in someway if you just ignore their calls/text. - While job-titles above your "rank" listen to your ideas and opinions they will more often then not take credit for your ingenuity and display it as their own to who-ever is above them. - I listed this as a Pro but they generally give you an NCCCO certification with no intention on utilizing you with it. It's more so to let them bill clients more because of your certifications or charge you to someone absent. (truck driver can be billed as a crane operator if they are an operator short, whatever pays more) Don't be expecting their interest in actually getting you operating cranes anytime soon.

Pros

Good pay and steady work.

Cons

Toxic work environment with rude, racist, bigoted people in charge. Don't even think about working here if you're not white.
