Great Care and Balance

Pros

Work from home arrangements before and during COVID, flexible working hours, great benefits. An employee centric place to work, with wonderful colleagues that care about you as a person! Very knowledgeable people willing to spend time to train and teach which results in an incredibly supportive work environment for personal and professional growth. Internal growth opportunities nearly unlimited.

Cons

Some external client project deadlines are scheduled for quick turnaround time, which causes some stress, really difficult to manage external deadlines, but willing to communicate and resolve issues.

Pros

Management worked hard, and were respectful, HR both Anita and Hugh were wonderful.

Cons

I worked in the CAD/BIM area of the office. Most employees were great and helpful, and some were Okay. But there was one employee with the Initials of EA, that worked with me that absolutely was the worst. Every time some one asked for help or didn't understand her comments, she would put them down as in "how do you not know". It was her QC and she should explain it better if someone doesn't understand her comments. we also worked with an intern who was very new to industry and still in college, so our task was to help him out and answer any questions he had. She was very rude that intern, always yelling at him, telling him to google it. I understand if your job is busy or hectic, but you should always help others out when they come to you. you are not all that special to "shoo" away people like that. That is part of your responsibilities when you decide to be an engineer. It is not a one person job, and I really hope she learns because her beliefs/ techniques hurt the company.
