Pros

Team members and people your closely interact with are friendly, experienced, and highly-skilled.

Cons

- Company Finances are suspicious. Under the current CEO, targets have been missed for 8 consecutive quarters and no bonuses awarded for 2 years, but the products are apparently making more money than ever before. It's one story for employees and another story for investors. - Leadership have shown shocking behaviour and misogyny towards employees, publicly admonishing people, particularly women, on company calls. It's a humiliating experience having to sit and listen to your colleagues being treated this way. - Experienced engineers and managers are being for forced out. Keeping costs low and equity concentrated to the leadership is taking priority over actually developing any products. Any open positions are given to unqualified friends of the CEO, rather than promoting internally. - Leadership don't know what direction to take, or even to understand the industry they are in. Everyone failed business decision is always someone else fault. The priority is keep making demoes to lure in clients, while the only products which actually make money are under resourced or abandoned.

Pros

Lots of opportunity to pick up new skills and move around internally within the company. Amazing and talented colleagues.

Cons

Extremely poor, autocratic and toxic leadership, displaying no real-world understanding of what it takes to actually produce and service software. Too much micromanagement and, yes, plain old-fashioned bullying from the highest levels (grass-root teams are fantastic, though, and everyone pulls together)

Pros

Get experience with some AI tech, though mostly generative chatbots.

Cons

Company founders are focused solely on generating IPO profits. All career and project advancement is halted to maximize share price for IPO day, after which there is no roadmap for the products or even the entire company.
