It's a small agency so you can gain some varied experience

No flexibility whatsoever in work schedule, working from home, etc. Literally before Covid, working from home was not ok and you'd be majorly shamed for doing it. All throughout Covid, the president was chomping at the bit to get people back into the office because he thinks people who aren't in the office aren't working. computers are old and crappy and slow PTO is a joke Pay is a joke They promise bonuses, they never happen The owner/president is verbally abusive to employees, and several people quit because of this They say they want to change to become more modern but then vehemently oppose any type of change Super cliquey, and the clique likes to pretend that they aren't cliquey and get offended when they are told that they are, but they are. It's unprofessional and honestly pathetic. There is no diversity at this agency, and no push to be diverse, diversity isn't valued at all.

At a small agency it is difficult for every employee to find their place, be motivated and make a difference for our clients. We push each other to do the best work we can, collaborate, and offer honest feedback. It is easy to say it takes a certain personality to fit in at a small agency, but it could also be said that certain personalities will never fit. It is true that the leadership team was old school when it came to work-from-home, not because of a lack of trust, but that we truly believe in camaraderie (not cliqueness), collaboration and the energy created in seeing and responding to each other face-to-face. Because of Covid and our amazingly slow technology (that's sarcasm), we have adjusted extremely well to working from home and have completely changed our policy for the future. And we have diversified our team with a more robust DEI hiring strategy. So if you read the above review and think "No way", it might be worth the time to meet us and see if you are a better fit.
