Pros

- Employee's are always willing to help and there is a great community internally -

Cons

- Company does not pay employee's on time and the management is not open when communicating financial outlooks with the company. We were notified that there we no funds to pay the employee's on payday. - Company over promises to their clients, while not accounting for needing more developers or team members. - There is no work/life balance

Pros

Remote work, exiting industry, cool interesting projects

Cons

There was a toxic culture from senior leadership; they failed to pay in time, and it took a month for us to get paid. The owner did not address the situation, and barely any information was given.

Pros

I worked at SweatWorks for over a year, and there were some definite pros to the company. The benefits package was quite generous, with twenty-five vacation days plus five national holidays, gym reimbursement, internet, and health insurance (up to a total of $200). The focus on the fitness industry made for an interesting work environment.

Cons

However, the overall atmosphere at the company was quite toxic. Over the past six months, there were too many dramatic situations and unprofessional attitudes from leadership. There were tense situations with both clients and employees, and the work environment did not feel healthy. The number of employees has dramatically decreased in recent months due to several layoffs, which makes it hard to maintain a positive attitude. The company is also prone to causing burnout in its employees. Furthermore, the company does not feel transparent, and there were cases where employees were not paid what they were owed upon being let go. This lack of transparency creates a lack of trust that makes it difficult to have a productive and happy workplace.
