Pros

Pros is short for professionals. This place doesnt have those.

Cons

Just started few months ago, came from a competitor tutoring company. The hours are awful, pay is worse and there is no flexibility in the workday, I am told when I have a break and it always changes. All I do is make calls all day, about 80 calls a day. Mostly leave voicemails. No education needed for this. Management is terrible. We are either micro-managed or completely fogotten and people eventually leave or get fired for not performing under the ridiculous expectations they set. Training is awful too. Not relevant to the actual job. Definitaly made a mistake moving over to this place. Dont' work here, there are better tutoring companies out there.

Every opinion matters to us, and I want to start by letting you know how sorry I am that your professional experience has not been a positive one. Together with our management team, I have thought a lot about your review. I am a bit confused, though, because the role you describe does not exist at our company: our work hours are 9am-6pm Monday-Friday, no one makes 80 calls a day, and our average staff tenure is 6.7 years. I wonder if you you could be confusing us with another tutoring company. If not, please reach out to me directly so we can either improve your role here or help you find a better fit elsewhere. Sincerely, Greg Zumas Co-Founder and President

Pros

Decent hours if you work hard, but then they take advantage of that. Program managers can be great depending on the one you get.

Cons

Low pay for highly skilled tutors. Get sued if you quit due to low pay and then have only ONE client that is a non-test prep student. They want me to give them 50% of my wages for the next year, and 100% for the past 3 months! Even their lawyer said they were being unreasonable. They are trying to ruin the life of a person trying to make an honest living. BEWARE!
