      This job is toxic for anyone's mental health

      Pros

      Paraprofessionals treat students with respect and care.

      Cons

      I don't know where to start. The job could have been rewarding, but the people running the company made it way harder than it needed to be. Most days were stressful because communication was all over the place and nobody seemed on the same page. Training was weak, support was limited, and a lot of times you were just expected to figure things out alone. Some leaders acted like control freaks and watched every small thing while bigger issues got ignored. They have their favorite people and do not care about others and some staff could be disrespectful for no reason. The pay was low for how much was expected, especially on the harder days.

      Try to manage not to go insane!!

      Pros

      I got to try to be a superhero doing everything by myself and now I know that I'm not!

      Cons

      It's a one-an team kind of job. I play all the roles, plan everything that needed planning, and do all the work! All of that while trying to manage not to go insane and keep my sanity!!! It's been crazy stressful and exhausting and I'm not sure if I could still manage all of this on my own!!

      Their system is horrible

      None, I honestly do not have any pros to list.

      Cons

      The individual is not valued here. Expectations are crazy, like you're supposed to just figure everything out with no help, especially when dealing with challenging situations. Leadership is all over the place, and some decisions are unfair and favoritism happening right in front of everyone. Pay is way too low for the stress. I remember being put into situations I wasn't trained for, which made things harder for both me and the students. The environment leans toxic, with intimidation and even hints of discrimination that no one seems to address. Some managers don't seem to address. Some managers don't seem to have proper management experience. Everyone acts like they're in high school, weird, toxic energy all around. It's honestly the worst job I ever had and would never recommend this company to anyone!!!! Do not do it to yourself. Don't make my mistake.
