      A traumatic experience

      The majority of the people hired here are lovely hard working individuals.

      Cons

      My personal experience was traumatic because of the way my manager at the time treated me. The micromanagement, constant negative feedback (I welcome feedback but not when it is constant at all hours of the day including outside of working hours) and the pure lack of managerial ability to build someone and support someone was enough for me to be emotionally and mentally broken by this place. One thing I learned from my experience was that I will never let someone treat me the way my manager [at the time] treated me.

      This could be a great business

      This is a good business that has been completely destroyed by the CEO. She brought in smart people to run it but the trouble with smart people is they leave because they are smart and won’t put up with nonsense. The current CEO has employed 11 people in 3 years to report to her and all have left because she is a micro manages people to their breathing patterns and of course they leave because they are smart. Investor money wasted on dead end pie in the sky ideas and top management costs. Beware of her cronies, brought in to just say yes while not having a clue as to what the business is. Spineless and weak would be the best description for them. You have been warned. Until she goes don’t join this business.

      Pros

      Shared office space is nice. Back end code is immaculate. Shepherds on the app really make the business, they are incredible!

      Cons

      CEO is chaos and manipulative, creates a poor atmosphere. Lacks transparency and chooses favourites periodically. No office culture. No strategy to the business. Constantly avoided pay reviews. Diversity is shocking, CEO gravitates towards white middle-aged employees.
