Pros

SMG perks are brilliant, my favourite one being, remote working. I stay easily connected, as my global team mates are only a quick Zoom away :) closing the gap from Ireland to Kansas, Cyprus and Abu Dhabi! Importantly, Leadership is strong from the top down and they actively listen. I really like the culture as there is an openness to change, everyone has a voice, we celebrate wins on internal channels, respect work-life balance and offer high autonomy. There's also unlimited paid time off, a stipend for tech equipment and 14 weeks paid parental leave. I get to work alongside a team of hardworking, talented recruiters and managers. I am challenged every day in my role and I feel incredibly lucky that I was selected to work in a company like this. We are consistently growing at SMG, allowing everyone to have an impact on our future as we innovate our platform and services. There are a ton of opportunities to grow and develop here as the company expands. Why did I join? For an incredibly challenging but amazing assignment to hire bar-raising engineers for SMG's ambitious plans. SMG really cares about crafting it's products around the human who uses them. This is important to me as I love good design and delivering actionable insights. I have found that if you ask for help or advice people are always very generous and willing to give their assistance. The company has a huge heart and giving back is baked into the company DNA with a quarterly Day of Giving for volunteer work in the community.

Cons

Rapid growth and change can bring challenges. What's been different about SMG however is they listen to issues and will discuss openly and be very transparent around challenges, keep communication fluid with engaging all employees every month on our Company and Culture Connect calls.

Pros

If you prove yourself, they won't question how you structure your schedule. It is extremely peaceful yet rewarding to work with them. A lot of our work is independent, we do also have collaborative projects and team meetings to learn more.

Cons

I have no complains to be honest.

Pros

Fully remote, global culture with people from various backgrounds, just amazing people to work with all around. Work/Life balance is decent, your work hours are respected if you live in different time zones. Work feels meaningful. Just a great place to work.

Cons

Compensation is not necessarily competitive, but this depends on the specific position. There aren't many additional benefits if you are a global associate.
