My experience within the company, which I know that the person prior to me left for the same reasons.
The training and support that was offered and promised at the interview stage was not followed through.
There was not a full commercial team so guidance and support was lacking.
When I expressed my concern as I was getting 'told off' about things I was not trained/told to do and there was a lack of support and training that was promised. 4 hours after having the conversation I was given my notice and the reasoning being that I was 'too stressed now, and it's only going to get worse and I'll become unwell'. I was NOT stressed and was ultimately dismissed on a unfair ground.
It showed to me that as soon as I flagged something - in confidence - they did not try to help me and support me with the training they had no given but they decided to end my employment.
Following on from my unfair dismissal I then wrote a lengthy email asking for a the reasoning behind my dismissal as the reasons they gave (over the phone, when they gave me my notice) were utterly barbaric.
I waited a week and did not hear a peep back, until I received a generic PDF letter to my email stating how many days I would be paid and if I owed any holiday etc.
The whole treatment process was not only appalling but happened within 4 hours of me expressing my concern and upset about the lack of support and guidance I was given from anyone in the company.
