- Compelling mission - great platform that is used by millions of children and educators - A team that is passionate - good programs work that is well-liked by funders

- Board is disconnected to the work, provides little support - Years of no strategic direction from executives and bad decisions led to overstaffing and big layoffs - As said by others, nepotism and favoritism for MIT folks has run rampant in the org, impeding its evolution - Lack of stability: multiple CEOs in less than 2 years
