The leadership there is a joke. They promote people who have little experience in sales and do not promote or give bonuses to those who are successful. The environment is very toxic and they threaten you if you ask too many questions or provide constructive criticism. There is no path for growth here (even though they tell you there is). The pay is horrible, they have no processes in place for anything. It’s utter chaos and all they say to make up for it is “ thank you for being flexible”. You basically are doing the job of 5 people for the pay of 1 because no one takes ownership of their responsibilities and again because there are no processes in place. They kept using the excuse that they were a start up and that they are in the growing pains, but if you want to be taken seriously as a leading provider of curriculum then leadership needs to take a deeper look into how they do things and actually change and implement process that work not a quick fix. There is no 401k match and they literally only have 1 person as the hr rep for the entire company. You can’t trust HR to keep your conversations in confidence. The leadership completely does not care about their moral values or ethics. They lied to their customers, forced sales reps to add products customers didn’t need to increase the sale, they made sales rep add to their pipeline to inflate it, and would lie to their own employees. They hire people for jobs that aren’t even posted ( which is illegal by the way). You have to get it in writing or it’s not happening. Management is TERRIBLE! I’ve never been so micromanaged in my life. They do not trust their employees to do their jobs so they in-turn make them do busy work. Turnover is so high. They do not answer your questions and always go around it.
I would only recommend this place to teachers who need a stepping stone to move or change careers. Get your 1 year of experience and get out of dodge.
