Great people to work with, horrible working environment and management
Pros
The culture at SES is phenomenal. Your colleagues are generally very friendly and everyone respects each other. If it wasn't for my coworkers, I would have left the company earlier due to the qualms I have listed under cons.
Cons
The CEO has the emotional intelligence of a robot and is an Elon Musk wannabe. He lays off over 20 people and somehow accidentally sends out an email that says "it's done, next week we begin afresh" as if he did not take away the livelihood of many employees that day. This man will talk about AI all day long and how the company should aim to have robots take over our jobs and flexes his love for Elon by incorporating AI into his newly bought cybertruck. Maybe stocks prices wouldn't be so low if he were to stop idolizing Elon (who isn't even a good person to begin with).
