      BEWARE if you are looking for a career, pass SBA by.

      Pros

      Can be with this company a long time until execs decide your presence is inconvenient or they can protect their own positions by sacrificing yours.

      Cons

      Absolutely no loyalty whatsoever to their employees regardless of years of service. The corporate management that has been in place for the last few years has shifted a once admired and highly respected company to to the level of of a street corner shell game hustle. Play by the rules unless forecasts are in jeopardy then anything goes on the books too make a buck and look better on the surface to monitoring groups.

      I acknowledge your comments regarding your time at SBA. Although our company has been around for many years, two of SBA's goals is to provide more training and to be more innovative, using up-to-date data and proven methods. To achieve that, team members need to feel they are understood, which unfortunately was not your experience. However, you express your concerns with a negative, critical tone that does not ideally lend itself to resolving issues.       Too much stress and workload!!

      Pros

      Most people are nice and good to work with

      Cons

      Management has no backbone. They will not back you up when push comes to shove, even if you are right. Work 16 hours a day and still feel behind due to lack of help No appreciation when you get things done, but will ream you a new one if you screw up just the slightest bit Pay is not worth the time and stress you have to deal with, probably one of the lowest paying Telecom Construction Super's pay out there Expected to answer phone and e-mails all the time, even when on vacation!

      Not honest with regional employees

      Pros

      The people in my office were terrific. Too bad mostly everyone was let go for various revenue related reasons.

      Cons

      As you may notice all the good reviews are recent and come from the corporate office in Boca Raton (HR stunt?). The regional offices struggle under poor management, backstabbing, and lies from upper management. I am sad because SBA really disappointed me.
