There was an excessive level of micromanagement, which may have contributed to the company’s lack of longevity. Many meetings could have easily been replaced with an email, as they often lacked structure and clear objectives. It was difficult to see a cohesive direction or actionable outcomes from these discussions. While managers and senior leaders are typically brought in to provide strategic insight and drive the business forward, that level of leadership wasn’t clearly demonstrated by the senior team during my time there.

Some employees feel there is little opportunity for career advancement or development within the company.
