Pros

- In consulting it can be difficult to find meaningful work that you feel like is contributing to society. I love that this firm's entire mission is to only take on projects they feel are creating positive social impact! - The onboarding process has been simple and easy. The work is easy to pick up if you have worked in consulting or project management roles in the past. - The staff really care about there work and want to help make society a better place. Almost everyone has a background in public health and social work and wants to apply their knowledge to help the organizations and agencies that directly work with communities in need. - Starting pay is competitive with some of the larger consulting firms

Cons

- More time for sponsored training opportunities. - The time it takes to keep track of billable hours can be bothersome, but it's the nature of working at a smaller consulting firm. - More defined processes and procedures to streamline how clients are helped. - More powerpoint deck templates and timesavers for building presentations/reports.

Thank you for your input! It’s great to hear that you had a positive experience at RDA. Our people have always been our best asset! Work/life balance is certainly tricky, particularly in a billable-hour environment. We are evaluating how we structure teams and assign projects to better promote work equity and sustainability. We also encourage our team members to take the breaks and time off that they need to rejuvenate and to seek support from our robust Employee Assistance Program for guidance on all aspects of well-being. Thanks again for your feedback!
