Pros

None unfortunately. Normal hard working staff are treated badly, whereas poor performance is tolerated and encouraged for friends of managers who are protected and promoted.

Cons

At Battersea Reach, Wandsworth town, there is bullying, corruption, fraud and discrimination as a consistent policy, from higher to lower management and supervisory positions. Management run things like an army (divide and rule, having informants, etc). Hard working staff are forced out due to poor treatment including actually illegal actions. H.R. supports this and friends of managers get away with being drunk on site, having sex with residents, performing sexual favours for promotion, and moonlighting - getting paid while not working, but running their own businesses on company time, with massive conflicts of interest - amongst other problems. Good staff are treated badly and the worst staff are treated best.

Pros

1. The workplace is located in The City 2. You are trusted with senior responsibilities early on 3. Strengthens your double entry accounting

Cons

1. Top Down Management - very structured and a lot of barriers. 2. Bonus of a few hundred pounds IF you are lucky. 3. Very high turnover due to extreme workloads, and lack of long term incentives. 4. The teams are very cliquey and not at all accepting or welcoming to new joiners. 5. Your colleagues have no incentive to help as it doesn't drive their own bonus/performance reviews. 6. A culture of heavy micromanagement and extremely low employee morale. 7. If you visit the office, have a good look around the teams, and you will feel the depressed atmosphere 8. You are provided very little, to no training on joining and are left to work out your own role. 9. A lot of the organization is ran by toxic personalities that are concerned more about self preservation, than team/organisational growth. 10. Study fees covered - but you are expected to repay them fully unless you stay for a year or two after qualifying 11. No accounting system - the hybrid property-accounting system is out of date. Its too limited and not fit for purpose.

You work independently most of the time

Cons

Huge workload with impossible targets Poor appraisal process designed for you to appear as underachieving Lack of appropriate and necessary communication Lack of respect to all staff Top down management culture Serious lack of knowledge sharing Two week induction is actually one day of IT and login issues Any concerns raised will fall on deaf ears as there are long standing employees who will be made a priority over others.
