It’s extremely demanding especially if you’re at a branch other than the corporate office, as you’re on call 24/7 and do not have free time to devote to a life outside of work. If you complain about it, no solutions or help is given from upper management and you’re asked, in other words, to suck it up.
Upper management isn’t upper management. It’s one person who has his hand in every single little operational situation, leaving the flow of communication and any kind of normal business hierarchy to get extremely messy. You’ll be told to do something from a department head, then do that thing, just to be yelled at by the president. It’s a viscous cycle or poor management, poor miscommunication and constant mistreatment of employees. The president is extremely manipulative and will scheme his way through whatever to save the company (himself) money. There isn’t even an HR department, she quit because of the president. So good luck with help on anything from that standpoint If you decide to ignore this and work there. They haven’t even tried to hire someone else to fill that role, which shows exactly how they feel about their own personnel.
Also ignore good reviews. The president literally asked us to write good reviews to off set the poor ones. I’ve read every one, the positive ones are a joke probably written by the president himself.
Do NOT work here. There are plenty of good companies out there. Don’t give this company the opportunity to keep going.
