Pros

Great training program if you are new to recruitment, good financial benefits if you do well.

Cons

Management extremely unprofessional. You will constantly be expected to work late without even a thanks but if you arrive 5 minute late one mornings expect to be called up on it and given out to like you are in school. If you want a question answered it will likely need to go to 4 different levels of management first. If you bill well one month your the best thing in the world - one mistake or bad month and you will be make to feel terrible. KPI's are ridiculous - not achievable and every Friday from 3PM I watched other staff members panic and track phone calls that were never made just to hit KPI's. Internal competition with other offices/specialisms is incredibly bad - welcome back to school get ready for the claws to be out!! Great way to start my career as it showed me everything that i DIDN'T want in an employer.

Pros

You could document the daily goings-on and have an effortless amazing sitcom written in record time.

Cons

Important to note that i believe my disgraceful experience was confined to the area of the business i was in, in dublin. The rest of the Organisation internationally seemed really well run as did the finance and admin recruitment teams in Dublin. However I unfortunately did not benefit from any of this. The first day I arrived my manager was not there and I was brought to a desk covered in an inch of dust. There was a bathroom directly off office which I (a female) shared with the boys and cOnstantly broke stinking out the office. Nobody did any work ever so nobody made any money. Anyone who showed any signs of wanting to work or received any positive feedback from a client was put down and ridiculed by management. Honestly I think "be my drinking buddy" should have been in the job description as that was the only thing seemingly expected from recruiters. Conversation was beyond inappropriate; in depth descriptions of extra curricular activities with any female desperate enough to go near them. There was a copy of playboy in my desk. They were without a shadow of a doubt the biggest pack of idiots I have ever been subjected to.
