My experience with the India office of Redwood Software did not feel truly employee-centric. The HR leadership approach often appeared more focused on visibility and personal recognition rather than fostering an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture.
One example that reflected this perception was the recent office opening activities and internal posts, where the communication and spotlight seemed heavily centered around HR representation while local operational leadership and broader employee contributions appeared to receive limited visibility. This created an impression of imbalance in recognition and employee engagement.
At times, interactions also felt hierarchical, where employees below management level did not always seem equally acknowledged or valued. A workplace culture should make every employee feel respected regardless of designation or level.
The company has strong potential in the local market, but there is significant room for improvement in HR leadership style, employee engagement, communication approach, and overall workplace culture.
