Pros

Looking for a great company that respects its employees? Do yourself a favor and bypass this company. You basically have a job, for a period of time. The only thing that kept me around, most everyone was great to work with.

Cons

1) A fading technology company that looks to the past for future growth. 2) Some long term employees are bad seeds in the overall work atmosphere which can taint fresh talent. 3) Longer term employees tend to be promoted up leading to ineptitude in management. 4) You work here and that's it - unless your an executive you'll never see a raise 5) Sigma Core - The company's flagship product doesn't work or do voicemail or have customers or have sales. Company operates phone system on 20 year old technology. 6) Want to talk technology? They still operate vital code changes on a mainframe. Most tools are outdated and unsupported as they've been sunset by the vendors. 7) High Turnover and rightly so. They lie to get you in. 5) You will lose your will to live. The HR person is disrespectful and is two faced and violates HR Code of Conduct

Pros

A friend of mine read the recent reviews here and asked me how I could work here. I had no idea what she was talking about until I read them. It was really easy to figure out who wrote the bad reviews, so I need to defend the company. Both were bitter employees that came from very large companies that wanted a procedure and a plan for everything. When things didn't go their way (mainly because they were glass half empty people) they attacked their teammates and blamed management behind their backs. It is interesting that the big company they both left to come here is not in business anymore. Unfortunately they were both able to make themselves indispensable for a long time by hiding information and placing doubts in management's minds about teammates. New leadership finally saw through that and did the right thing. Big company mindsets don't work here. If you are flexible to work on different things and like working with people then Redcom is a great place to be. If you aren't open to other people's opinions because you "already have it all figured out and you are smarter than everyone," then please don't come here. If you feel entitled to a pay raise every year just because you show up to work, then you will only hold us back.

Cons

Health insurance costs keep going up a little bit each year but that is probably the same everywhere.
