Rebilly is a great place of opportunities, below is my top 14:
* Apologize 15 minutes in a row during hangout call with entire team because you decided to setup a weekly front-end meeting
* Realize that after vacation your and other projects was deleted and spend time on it’s recreation
* Don’t allow every developer participate in project you lead, lot of developers on a project makes CEO unhappy.
* Work environment compensation is available till CEO decide that you don’t deserve it
* Get an offer to leave the company after question why there is no even single QA if there are too many front-end and back-end bugs
* Try new development processes each 6 months. Last time CEO switched entire company from RFC to… RFC
* Lot of motivation speeches every thursday + even more if CEO will read another book related to self-success.
* Start your working day with slack message like “our colleague is not with us anymore, DM me if you want to know details”
* Regret if you will ask details about situation above
* Play a game “do you trust that CEO is able to solve your task in 2 hours without any help” after asking for clarification during weekly meeting.
* Explain yourself more than 2 hours if you decided to automate something that CEO doesn’t want to be automated and be ready to delete your result by the same reason.
* Be ashamed if you finish your tasks during 6-week cycle in 2-3 week because “you spent not enough attention”
* Be discharged in 5 minutes because you don’t meet culture fit after two years of work here with no compensation or even warning that somebody think that your behavior is wrong.
During 2 years here 8 points of list above were my personal problem, other was problems of my former teammates.
As it mentioned on careers page on Rebilly’s website: “No two days are the same at Rebilly”.
