Good company for a junior professional

Pros

You can find a good work and personal life balance. Good atmosphere (most of the time -depends on the department).

Cons

No strategy, no vision. No career development programme.

Pros

Provides an opportunity to start off your Sales Career. Opportunity to meet really great personalities.

Cons

Corporate politics plays a huge part in your overall productivity. This was the first organization that I faced direct racism from a Vice President of Sales who represented the company for over 10 years. I was told after submitting my application for another Reed event "You know black people won't be put on certain events".

layoffs on a bi-weekly basis

Pros

Not one single Pro here at all.

Cons

Upper-Management is commissioned on everything while not being directly involved in anything. The company is constantly laying /firing people with no hope of a future. The moral is the EXTREMELY negative with management to blame. If you are young, this place will absolutely ruin you and your resume.

While we’re sorry to hear you’ve had a negative experience, I’d like to offer some insights that may be helpful. Reductions in workforce only occur when absolutely necessary. Whenever possible, comparable positions are offered. If none are available we offer support services to assist with the transition to another role. We are heavily invested in helping our employees to be successful and productive in their roles. We offer internal training and coaching services and are in the process of hiring a full time Sales Trainer that will be a dedicated resource for our US Sales team.
