Pros

* Learning: You'll get a lot of experience in a lot of new things you've likely never seen before. Excellent for building a new skillset. * Coworkers: The team is very tight-knit, excellent at maintaining cohesion. I loved each and every member of my team while working for Qoverage. * Client base: The clients are amazing and really make every day a little bit brighter. *

Cons

* Work/life balance: Everyone is basically on-call 24/7 in the event of an emergency, due to team size, and salaried employees are expected to put in 45-50 hours, minimum, a week by default. Employees putting in 40 hours a week are often seen as 'under-performing'. * Compensation: People performing high-level duties are often underpaid from market value because they assimilate duties when the team is short and those duties become unofficially theirs to perform throughout their tenure. Despite the lack of pay increases to compensate for the new job roles, these are then considered in performance reviews as if they are official. * Management culture: Management will often make a decision today and change its mind tomorrow, then leave employees to clean up the mess. * Culture & Values: The company has a vision and values statement, but these are not heavily prioritized and many of the values will be openly violated to facilitate new decisions or interests from management. * Lack of support: Management often claims that employees should make decisions on their own and say they want to facilitate independent decision making, but when a decision is made by an employee, the employee is often criticized for it - even when the decision improves processes or increases revenue.

Pros

Excellent leadership from which to learn. Excellent work-life balance. Despite being an IT shop, our networks were solid so the number of on-call items I received in 5 years was less than a dozen. It’s a very small company so you will learn a ton and wear many hats. It enabled me to learn enough to start 2 of my own businesses. The owner is open and honest and a great teacher. Solid benefits, time off, and smart coworkers. Clients are also a joy to work with.

Cons

Salary won’t be at the absolute top of class, but this is a trade off of working for a small company. It’s also a benefit too though, because you aren’t just a number. You’re a valuable team member.

Pros

Both the President & CEO take time out of their active schedules to help potential hires & team members identify their strengths & achieve greatness. Executives are determined to assist your career however they can. Accomplishments don't go unnoticed when you're on the Qoverage team. The cultural environment is exactly what I hoped to encounter when I entered the IT workforce. Every member of the team is helpful & understanding. Life balance is considered essential!

Cons

None that I can think of.
