Can get very busy with high volume work and you are more than expected to commit to unpaid overtime to complete it.
Was told only after starting work that you must pretty much plan your life around the "end of month" period where team stays and works extra hours for no pay. They would rather return the favour by letting you finish early or start later on a different day and have someone else complete your work instead of actually paying you for your time. Annual leave can't be approved "closer to the end of the month" either and you can forget about getting 2 weeks off in a row to see family. Only one week at a time is allowed.
