Pros

Pros? Are you serious, in this place?

Cons

The CEO has taken a chainsaw to QAD, or QAD Redzone, or whatever rename you wish to call this septic place. If you're a customer and have purchased our software - thank you - but know this: all of the key support product IP knowledge is being outsourced abroad. Heard it's India, but who knows. What I do know is your big software investment is now less assured from this month on if things go wrong. If the CEO and his regime's boys fire us with a smirk, while planning their greedy exit, imagine how they'll be treating you in the future. Don't think so? Good luck, you'll need it.

Pros

Benefits are decent on paper, and remote work options exist for survivors who live far enough away from an office.

Cons

Since the new CEO took over earlier this year, it’s been a nonstop “restructuring” parade. Job security? What’s that? Feels like anyone’s over 40 is on the chopping block first—no matter how much experience or institutional knowledge they bring. Leadership’s all about injecting “fresh energy” and “new blood,” which apparently translates to preferring cheaper, younger hires who’ll grind endless hours for stock options and hype. One exec was overheard pushing for “young, dynamic talent” to “modernize” things… guess us seasoned folks are just too “adaptive” in the wrong direction. It’s like watching a bad reboot: heartless cost-cutting disguised as innovation, with waves of departures leaving morale in the gutter. If you’re under 35 and love uncertainty, this is your jam. Otherwise, polish that resume—your AARP card might as well be a pink slip.

Pros

- Leadership; From the CEO to the department managers or lead. They genuinely care for your well-being as a human being and will work tirelessly to make sure that they provide you the ability to grow in your desired career, whether it's your current position or not. - Colleagues; The hiring process that Redzone makes candidates go through is extensive for a reason - they only hire the best individuals out there. This is truly what makes Redzone great, its people. I worked with intelligent and humble human beings. - Technology; Redzone and its leadership won't blink twice and implement the latest and greatest technology that there is out there. This means you are constantly learning new tech and staying up to date.

Cons

- You must be willing to evolve rapidly. The process or tool that is used today might not be the same as the one of tomorrow or the day after. - It might not be a negative to some, but to others: You have to be able to manage yourself; If you're coming from a large corporate-like environment, you will have to learn to manage yourself and continue staying busy.
