Pros

some flexibility with work schedule

Cons

these Reviews on here are Hilarious! These reviews ARE DEFINITELY WRITTEN by the OWNERS (3 of em) - who are Obnoxious, rude and Condescending! As long as you're bringing in those sales they're your Best Friend. But the SECOND you're having a bad week they'll be All Over you (Not in a Good way either). I've been working there for YEARS - AND ZERO RAISES. I've been told by the owner, when I've Inquired why NO Raises, "If you want more money, work harder or become a manager." And they DON'T PAY you for Sales that you get. If you return to the Customer a few months later, they have been Signed up with protocall/constellation for months AND YOU STILL HAVEN'T BEEN PAID FOR YOUR WORK, but Protocall HAS! The product - constellation energy, doesn't have competitive Prices (Always At LEAST 10-20% HIGHER Than the Utility Energy companies), makes it NEAR IMPOSSIBLE to sell it to business owners who have a Half Of BRAIN and know a little about Energy. Protocall is the king/queen of MICROMANAGEMENT. Also you're SUPPOSED to be a 1099 Employee but are REQUIRED to be at WEEKLY meetings and DAILY conference calls - like I said, don't waste your time. #ShadyCompany

Protocall Communications Response

First and foremost, we are sorry that you feel this way towards the company. We pride ourselves in having an open-door policy and try to be as responsive as possible to any issues. You say that you were with us for years; something must have been working well for you to have stayed so long. In fact, we have team members who have been with us for more than 20 years – surely they don’t feel that the owners are mistreating them. Team members have unsurpassed growth opportunities and no caps on commission, but it’s hard work. Our client is highly regarded as tops in the industry, so your comments about them simply aren’t true. We can guarantee our reviews are from our employees because we encourage them to do so. We ask them to anonymously review us so that we can see where we need to improve as a company and also to see what works so that we can build on that. Please reach out to us to discuss further.

Pros

-flexible schedule -don’t have to work weekends or major holidays -sad only two pros, WAY more cons than there are pros here

Cons

-don’t get paid on every deal -don’t get paid on some deals for months -don’t get paid what your owed -don’t get paid nearly enough -after you leave (whether fired or on good terms) don’t pay you what your owed -promised 75-100k, was top in my office and didn’t crack 50k -don’t get what you put it, hard work is not repaid -door to door cold calling -lead generation is a joke, supposed to have solid appointments but ALL are a waste of time -communication throughout the company is beyond poor -if you need an answer you never get it, if they want an answer they hound until they get it -management acts like they care but in the end they only care about themselves and their bottom line -the culture is based on what have you done for me lately -2 pointless meetings a week -training is awful, make you work in an area that all trainees have already worked and have “beat up” -not a career unless your already at the top, just look at reviews, 75% of positive reviews are upper management -promise promotions that never come -turn over rate is catastrophic -hire anyone with a pulse, whether qualified or not -no benefits, insurance, 401k or incentives (expenses etc) -make you lie to Constellation Energy when they have office visits -if you don’t make the minimum numbers for quota pay gets drastically cut, including commissions -if your selling you will be loved, have a bad week and things change immediately -if you have a couple of bad weeks you get fired -the list could go on and on, not worth wasting anymore of my time

Pros

If nothing else you can get hired on as a 1099 independent contractor, get a small stipend and commissions for any any sales you get.

Cons

Old school, sweat shop management, deceptive practices, bully tactics, get me three sales a week or else. While you are hired as a 1099 contractor , you are not treated like one. Commissions are slow in being paid out.
