I want to start by mentioning something important: a good percentage of the positive reviews here appear to be written by people who are either still in training or very recently out of training. I know this because I personally posted my review during a luncheon the company hosts with newer hires to check in and handle some insurance paperwork.
Here are some things you should know before applying:
Everyone starts as a marketer, even if you applied for what was advertised as an “entry-level sales position.”
This is a door-to-door role. You will be driving all over Houston, so make sure your car is reliable and able to handle a lot of miles.
Your afternoons will largely be consumed by work. On Tuesdays and Thursdays you may have a couple hours to yourself in the morning, but on Mondays and Wednesdays you’re required to report to the office for meetings before your shift.
If you don’t return with leads after a shift, you may be placed in something called a “blank tank.” This requires you to come back into the office the following morning for additional training and feedback.
Your income depends heavily on the number of leads and prospects you bring in. The base salary listed in the job posting does not last forever, so be aware that long-term earnings rely on consistent performance.
This is a high-pressure environment. Daily expectations are intense, and if you are not comfortable working under constant pressure, it may be difficult to stay long-term.
You will be door-knocking rain or shine and are expected to drive to your assigned territory regardless of distance or weather conditions.
Saturday work is required, though the schedule rotates.
At times, the workplace culture can feel inconsistent. Some days leadership feels supportive, while other days it feels the opposite, which can make it difficult to know where you stand.
If you get let go, they tell you they want you to be set up for your next job so they have a company reach out to you and help you with free resume reviews, and so far, I've seen that to be false. There is another review here that mentions that so heads up
Also I don't think they have a HR....
