Pros
Flexi hours No enforced dress code
Cons
Terrible management who aren’t concerned with best practices Very low salary – this company works by employing staff in 3rd world countries to save costs, don’t expect to be remunerated fairly Doesn’t adhere to job description – you will be expected to do extra tasks outside of your job description Zero appreciation for employees apart from an annual generic email from the CEO, Greg Thomson No benefits of note, no perks for long standing employees apart from 3 extra leave days per year. Destination visits are no longer offered either. No career progression in this role Flawed internal system of evaluating employees (internally known as ODQs) Questionable ethics, even us employees are not in full understanding as to where the money is spent It’s rare to find a staff member, especially of the two heads of office in Claremont, who can take constructive criticism Brain drain, most skilled employees have left once they realized the true nature of working here Nepotism, many of the head office roles are filled by people who know each other Claremont office is not well kept, cockroaches, empty boxes etc. Low morale due to the above Lack of communication from the top. Amplified by the fact that the linear structure of company means your concerns are rarely escalated Retrenchments without warning; sometimes certain offices are notified and asked to keep it to themselves No fringe benefits despite original assurances No health insurance High employee turnover due to the above – over 25 Volunteer Advisors have come and gone in a 4 year period
