Pros

Competitive salary for senior sales role.

Cons

The CEO of this company turned a once great company into a total **** show. Every single decision made by the CEO during my tenure was the wrong decision. The CEO also pushes his political ideology onto his staff during Zoom calls and inter-office communications.

Thank you for your feedback. The role of a CEO is not an easy one. It is sometimes difficult to balance the needs of the organization versus the needs of its employees. Our CEO strives to make Progress Learning the best place to work and give employees a positive experience.

Pros

There are some talented and genuinely nice people at the company but they are largely taken advantage of, overworked and under appreciated.

Cons

There have been many instances of unfairness in the company. Management is selfish and lacks any respect for others’ expertise or opinions. They play favorites instead of caring about diligence and talent. They look the other way and are unlawful in so many situations. They are dismissive of ideas, unorganized and grossly underpay employees. Health insurance is also a joke. They claimed it was a better plan and in fact, it was only better for their pockets. There are so many tech ed companies in the industry and Progress Learning is one of the absolute worst when it comes to treatment of employees, and as job hunting has taught me, they have an increasingly negative reputation among the other companies and school districts.

Pros

Coworkers are solid, fine benefits, remote options for some positions.

Cons

You can put your heart and soul into your work, and they will still leave you high and dry. Leadership doesn’t have your back in the slightest.
