Pros

free food. benefits. get your own office (get yelled at for closing your door too long)

Cons

cameras and voice recorders everywhere. WOTC department is looked down upon and mistreated by all other departments. This department is yearly government approved, therefore, the management and the rest of the company does not bother too much with this department, nor do they tell you this job isn't secure at your interview. Poor leadership, management, and HR department. They only care about the legal aspects of Proliant, not too much about the employees within. People quit weekly.

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. We value your feedback and are always looking for ways to improve. However, I do want to address some of your specific concerns. First, we make our electronic monitoring policy known to all employees and the purpose is to not only protect our sensitive Company and Client information, but also to promote a safe environment. Our monitoring is conducted in a professional, ethical, and legal manner and is limited to public areas. Second, our WOTC department has since grown and is valuable part of our Company as they provide a great service to our clients. We strive to treat all of our employees and departments fairly as all of the departments together provide excellent service to our Clients. Our leadership is always looking for ways to improve and many efforts have been and continue to be made in ensuring our employees enjoy working for Proliant. Your feedback is appreciated and will help us make further improvements! Thanks again for your contribution and feedback!

Pros

There are no "pros" about this place.

Cons

They have cameras on you at all times, they review them. You need to fill out a spread sheet every Friday and send it to the owner that states what you did in 30 minute increments for each day. When they let me go they said I would have no problem with unemployment insurance. They fought it in court but I ended up winning. I would never recommend this place.

Bad Company, Terrible Employer

Pros

There are no pros that I can think of for this company or its management team.

Cons

The culture of the company is such that everyone is against each other. The management team does a terrible job of supporting their employees and fosters a competitive environment that is simply not necessary. There are cameras and voice recorders everywhere throughout the office that get reviewed frequently. They don't even trust their own employees! The training that new employees receive is minimal and not helpful - they hand you a book and expect you to learn ALL of the payroll laws and policies in 1 month. They also expect you to train yourself on how to use their software. The workload itself is manageable but gets very stressful at the end of the year until April. The best word to describe the office culture is toxic. The CEO and management team do not care or put forth any effort to help their employees grow or develop professionally. As long as you are doing your job and making the company money, that is all they care about. Their tactic is to hire recent college graduates and pay them minimally - $10/hour. The turnover rate is so high because of the low pay and toxic environment. One of the girls when I was there, after being hired to be a part of the sales team, quit without notice because she was asked to do manual, secretarial work all the time. They will use you for their benefit solely. Please be aware before applying to work here.

Thanks for taking the time to give some feedback. We value your input as it will help us make further improvements! I do want to respond to some of your points of concern. We apologize that you feel you did not receive enough training when you joined the team. Proliant’s Training Team has worked to create new, in-depth training sessions to ensure all employees are empowered with knowledge on all aspects of the system. Training sessions for new hires are also provided including an overview of the company, security training, system training, and position specific training. While we do have an electronic monitoring policy, it is certainly not for lack of trust of our employees. Our policy is communicated to all employees and the purpose is to protect sensitive information for our Company and for our Clients along with providing a safe work environment. Proliant does have several entry level opportunities in many different departments. We find this to be a great benefit to employees new to the work force as they have a great opportunity to grow and learn here. We also pride ourselves in promoting from within and giving our employees an opportunity to grow with us. Thanks again for your contribution and feedback!
