Pros

This is a Good first job, entry-level job or steppingstone to a better job and has benefits and 401(k) and dental.

Cons

There's a lot of politics senior management doesn't promote released a companywide survey issuing the 35% of all employees believe that promotion isn't fair or easy to come by and 30% of employees also said that going to your supervisor for problems would be solved in other consequences. Very low pay scale compared to competitors and annual raises are normally at 1%

Pros

Good training program for entry-level positions. Parent company has stable financials and seems committed to the industry. Parent company believes strongly in mergers and acquisitions.

Cons

Management does not communicate openly to supervisors let alone other staff. Management positions are often filled from outside the organization. Layers of middle managers have been added to the org chart recently, resulting in more friction and politics in serving the business needs. Employee head count has gone down steadily in recent years despite several acquisitions. New positions were created due to acquisitions where existing staff were not permitted to apply. Compensation lags behind competitors but benefits are comparable. Department managers are often overworked themselves and seem stressed out. Annual review process is not worthwhile and merit increases commonly lagged behind inflation rates. Employees of little value are perpetually retained while valuable assets are lost to competitors. Company values are meaningless when they are not enforced from the top of the org chart.
