      Misleading and Misdirected

      Pros

      Benefits were good and inexpensive, Work Schedule is good and they offer plenty of flexibility, relaxed environment with little business casual attire.

      Cons

      Pay is far below market, no raises in past few years - save one year where raise was 2%, Christmas bonus was a tree ornament, folding chairs or scarf. Technology challenged. Families dominate upper level positions. Hire mostly graduates of the school.

      Dead end job! No chance for advancement unless someone quits. Revolving door!

      Work like balance is awesome.

      Cons

      Most of the employees there are either graduates of the school or family of someone there. Coming in as an outsider, and years of experience there was no respect for the knowledge I could bring to the table. Very insecure leadership who feels like everyone wants their jobs. Lack of communication from upper management is the greatest obstacle facing this organization and because of it, the school is having difficulties retaining employees and students.
