Lets talk about the company outlook first. This is an organization that is rapidly sinking. Existing accounts are leaving. The sales team has no clue how to land new accounts. Struggles to meet numbers every quarter. About the leadership. The North America delivery leaders are literally incompetent. None of them have any skin in the game. They dont have a clue on any of the domains they handle. You would expect a leader to be aware of their domains, technically competent to some extent and be able to drive the business in that domain with the competence. Not the case here. None of them have written a single line of code in their entire lives. They are the same ones who command the team to learn AI. Leaders are someone you look up to and see them as mentors. This bunch has to be the most uninspiring set of leaders chosen to run businesses. No wonder the company is unable to retain accounts. Every leader in North America is there not because of competence but because they are close to top leaders in some way. India leadership. I need a whole website for this. To keep it simple, the rot starts with the head of India. Highly biased leader who chooses to favor employees from Mumbai. This is done very openly. When you have to let a team member go the Mumbai employee gets saved. When a promotion for a role comes up the Mumbai employee gets it. When future leaders are identified the Mumbai employee gets selected. The company struggles every quarter and the numbers dont look healthy. Everyone knows this. But this India leader has the head so far up own backside that said person wants the employees to believe the company is healthy. Layoff culture. If the company is not doing well, the most obvious solution is to cut costs. I dont have to say anything more. Every week the scanner turns to employees who can potentially be let go. Every quarter the plan is executed. Rest of the India leadership team. Nothing to say here. Bunch of ordinary folks who got elevated to senior positions mainly because of the Mumbai favouritism. Except a couple of decent folks. The result is a set of inflated egos who believe they are kings. They would struggle if they joined anywhere else and they also know it. They wont have to leave because they are protected by the India head. Will be really interesting if the company shuts down or gets sold off. What would happen to these people should be a very interesting scenario. My prediction. The company wont survive this year. Or maybe only a few units may remain while the loss making ones get shut down. Which means the employees in those units will be let go. Except some favourite Mumbai employees who may be lucky to get moved to other areas. Read between the lines other location employees will be booted out. Worst case is company gets sold off entirely.
