Pros

Great and talented people Great to have Google and Sony Music as clients

Cons

Culture looks great on social media, but the leadership should care more about the employees otherwise everyone will continue to leave. There is very little trust from above, way too much micromanagement and for such a young, cool company, there is absolutely no flexibility in how/when you work. Most of the work is done for Google, so there isn’t as much creative freedom as you would think. Any creative projects there are, have short timelines and you have to invest your own time to feel like you are really getting any value out of the work.

Pros

Lovely group of team members employed.

Cons

There was no HR while I was there, this is a company that's over 5 years old with 40+ employees - a massive cause for concern, generating a lack of security for employees. Constructive feedback is not taken onboard easily, with the lack of HR to moderate this there is no exit interview process or proper place to voice any concerns felt over the working environment, projects assigned or roles. This often lead to feelings of helplessness and frustration that could have been resolved or taken on board before deciding to leave the company.

Pros

A fantastically talented team with a wide variety of skills that offer great creative opportunities in projects. Sociable team who are also passionate about their work. Office space is nice and equipment is second to none. Annual Christmas trip abroad is great for team building. Handful of projects are interesting and push creatively (Google and Sony being the bulk of the client work).

Cons

Project review processes are pretty poor and counter-productive. Feedback is often contradictory and leaves the project team both confused and frustrated. Directors often seem uninterested when ideas are being explained which makes you feel unappreciated (we want to have your full attention as we are passionate about the work we present), looking at laptop screens and phones during this time is pretty demotivating. An automatic monthly payment process would be nice, a manual process seems to be stressful and unproductive for management. Many projects are becoming retainer based work for the team that often lacks true creative thinking and career development. Friday slides where the entire agency shows what each other are working on is a nice idea. It happens too often (present when there are key landmarks in a project not just for the sake of it). They also happen way too late in the day on Friday. Maybe mix up the concept and do some team building activities or allow the team to simply socialise (goes a long way). Team too often split between offices (main office and Google), sometimes don't see members of the team for an entire week. Too strict with general reasons for working from home or needing a morning off (for appointments etc) you have to use your holidays in most cases. The team often work late, allowing an hour or two off or WFH should be more than acceptable. Process for career development needs a lot of work, in most cases you are doing the chasing (more than once) before anything is put in place. Often unappreciated for work effort unless you work numerous lates nights (only then recognised) Management takes feedback or someone leaving too personally (especially on notice period). Members of the team especially young talent seems to be wasted and unappreciated and not pushed and utilised to develop their skills. They should be learning a lot in a short space of time in such an agency environment.
