no desire whatsoever to update anything in the company or establish processes. no leadership, especially among c-suite. everyone is inexperienced, presumptive, and rude. they'll be incredibly condescending and treat you like a child if they think you aren't getting it, but make no effort to actually coach. your training and onboarding is entirely dependant on a 19 year olds goodwill and whether or not they want to be your friend. people move roles all the time and there is no separation between duties. it creates so much confusion and no one knows who is responsible for what. women don't get as many opportunities as men, and women are expected to be obedient and subservient. the men can treat you like garbage and HR will just shrug their shoulders at you, but if you stand up for yourself then suddenly you're receiving negative performance reviews out of nowhere with no examples or context of what exactly is wrong. they claim they want more processes, but have fired everyone in the last year who has tried to put any together. not a friendly place for neuro-diversity. everyone is expected to be on the same wave or you're "not a good fit". HR will claim to offer support, but nothing you tell them is confidential and will get offended if you say anything critical at all about the company. expect everyone to know your business. co-president is an abusive, gaslighting egomaniac who will call you outside your working hours just to convenience him. he will also make the office a hostile environment for you if you do not allow him to bully you into cutting corners for him. salaries are much lower than the industry standard, and they mostly hire new-grads who don't know their rights or have no experience. the only reason the product does so well is because they're partnered with amazon AE's. if they didn't get those referrals, they wouldn't be considered a leader in the industry. promotions are based on nepotism and favouritism. if you brown-nose the c-level execs, you can basically do whatever you want with no repercussions. they don't care about accountability. they just want someone to blame when something goes wrong, so most people hide their mistakes. if you try to own up to something and come up with a resolution, then they'll hold it over your head until you quit or get fired. mistakes are never forgiven. literal temper tantrums when something internal needs to change, and the c-level execs just let is happen. most leadership makes the mistake of assuming that being condescending is the same as being constructive. it's like working for that 16 year old manager you had in high school. there is no transparency on performance or business needs. you are left guessing, and if something is wrong you'll be in for a nasty surprise.
