Your manager is going to be either overworked and somewhat unaware of what the job entails or they'll be an idiot. The only way promotion works at this job is just by being there for a while. It is the biggest problem they have the management is poor. Well, the biggest problem is that their slumlords working to make the biggest corporation on the planet richer via the destruction of the US housing market but that's a different problem.

ABSOLUTELY NO WORK/LIFE BALANCE!!! Directors abuse their power, upper management asks for ways to improve the company, but when you give them ways to improve they shoot it down. Upper management has it bad at firing their hardest workers as a means of retaliation when they feel intimidated. Since the management change there is NO ADVANCEMENT. They change your job role and job title without written notification. You don't get a contract stating your job description to make it easier for them to control what you do.
