Pros

Decent hands on experience, but only because they are so desperate to have\keep staff so you are thrown right in. Long term, this is why so many people leave I'm sure.

Cons

Just say no... not worth the stress, low pay, and poor, disorganized work environment. Nothing you do will be right unless the right people do it. Meaning the staff the CEO favors.

Hello. We are pleased to hear that you gained a positive hands-on experience. I apologize if you felt as though you were “thrown into” the position. I would welcome a call to find out how the training program and staff one-on-one’s did not support your starting experience. Event management is ranked as one of the most stressful industries in the country, so it is a necessity that professionals enjoy the fast-paced environment. While it may be chaotic at times, we strongly endorse other team members to help and support each other. In addition, we value our staff immensely and try to continually recognize them for their dedication and hard work. I can assure you that I appreciate everyone equally and my interaction with staff is often tied to the projects they are working on. There are some accounts that may require additional focus or support. I encourage you to call the office at your convenience so we may further discuss. I am available for your feedback as we are continuously examining ways that we may improve and grow.

Pros

It's location is really convenient.

Cons

I did actually work there but was offered a position after interviewing with about ten women. The pay offered wasn't even enough to pay my rent and when asked when I could start I asked for two weeks. They said they would call me back and never did, in fact they ignored my phone calls. I received an email a week and a half later informing me they picked another candidate. I have never ever of any company offering someone a position and then sending them a rejection email!

Hello. We are very sorry to hear of your experience during the interview and subsequent process. We strive to introduce potential candidates to a multitude of people in order to provide a full understanding of how each department collaborates and operates together. In addition, we often address salary requirements early on in the process so that interviewees may determine if the job aligns with their goals. This also allows us to fully assess if the desired salary is validated against the candidate’s experience and skills. I can assure you that we are very responsive to interested candidates and encourage open communication to properly address any questions or concerns. In this instance, I welcome a call to discuss how we could have better handled your situation. Please do not hesitate to call our office as we hope to resolve this concern.

Terrible Workplace

Pros

The literal only good thing I can think of is that I enjoyed the work I was doing when I first started there.

Cons

This was an absolutely terrible place to work and some examples of what happened to me specifically include: I was micromanaged by people who were not my direct boss, work slowly began to get taken away from me until I was no longer even doing what I was hired to do, nothing I did was EVER good enough but directions were never clear from the start. In addition to me being bullied in the workplace on a day to day basis, they had no HR department so it’s not like I could report what was happening (which is absolutely wild to me), I saw others be bullied to by the same individuals, specially the CEO, who is genuinely just a nasty person, and the turnover while I was there was wild because of this poor treatment. favorites are picked and it is very obvious if you are one of them or not. However, the favoritism is not based on how you are performing or the work you are doing. I could not tell you what it was based on because I gave them no reason to treat me the way that they did but it didn’t matter.
