      Pros

      Free gym membership, some people can be really nice, discount on certain food items and at the PRO shop.

      Cons

      After working here for a few years, I have to say that the environment is incredibly stressful. Management seems disorganized and the majority of departments seem like they're understaffed and their employees are overworked (especially the internal operations departments). Hourly employees are not really allowed any overtime and salaried employees are expected to work more than 40 hrs a week without additional pay (and reprimanded if they don't), Upper management seems to care more about revenue and the company's public image than employee satisfaction and happiness. In addition, there's a cult-y feel due to the PROBEST policy and the uniforms that all "cast members" are required to wear. Having to do "warm ups" each week to go over the PROBEST ideal is childish and stupid. Don't drink the kool-aid! Personal expression is not permitted, which is very old-school thinking especially in the Seattle area. This place is nothing short of a nightmare.

We would also like to apologize for not responding to your review sooner but would like you to know that we have been working on a new business model that allows management to be more connected with the daily needs of their team as well as providing a better work life balance. We do have a service model that reflects Disney's service standards, and we do everything we can to make that clear to candidates when they are in the application process. The culture and uniforms may not be the right fit for everyone, but it is something that sets us apart from our competitors, and allows us the ability to create fun and memorable experiences for all of our members.       Not as good as it first appears

      Pros

      I had a few good coworkers, and learned a few new skills.

      Cons

      I’ll only list a few, but there are many. They value the almighty dollar far more than they value their employees. It isn’t uncommon to work many hours of overtime in one week (but they put you on salary so they don’t have to pay you overtime). Your boss may, or may not, show up to work each day. Here is one specific experience that I had… While I was employed by PRO Sports Club my Dad was diagnosed with cancer and given three days to live. The company policy was that we could use sick time if we had an immediate family member (including parents) that was ill. I was forced to use vacation time and told that since my Dad was in the hospital that I couldn’t use sick time because I wasn’t technically taking care of him. He passed away shortly after and I was not given any bereavement time. In addition, when I traveled to his memorial service I was required to take a laptop with me so I could work remotely while I was there.

      Unhealthy Company Culture

      Pros

      Free club membership, and decent perks for spa employees if you are into spa treatments.

      Cons

      Toxic, immature environment in many departments - like high school all over again with adults. Management doesn't see massive employee turnover rates as a sign that something isn't going right. Quick to punish bad behavior, not as quick to reward good work. Not good about encouraging growth within the company.
