Pros

Access to a ready made client base which make this company ideal for practitioners who don't necessarily have lots of experience but has talent and ability. Client vary from VIP to your average which make working with Priv a great opportunity to raise your profile as a make-up artist. I predict that this company is set to boom over the next year to five years.... therefore potentially giving Priv Professionals great exposure within their industry.

Cons

Priv Professional is a new business model which was developed and made successful in the US. However because it is so new here (in the UK) that the client base is not yet established so the work is not coming through thick and fast as yet. Work is not guaranteed there is also no holiday/sick pay available.

Pros

The ethos of the existing client base is the only huge draw to signing up with this fickle souless company

Cons

A narcissistic, explotive , elitist environment out of touch with the reality of people needing to earn money to survive. Focus on cool and too cruel to all of humanity apart from the rich and beautiful. Shallow and souless.

Pros

PRIV employees are fun, smart, and hardworking. Close bonds are formed amongst the team. Getting complimentary service is always a great plus!

Cons

If you are looking to be acknowledged and rewarded for doing the bare minimum and favoritism, then this job is for you. However, if you are looking to move up in your career because you recognized for being an outstanding worker then steer clear! Upper management does not reward hard work, they reward people who go along with all the crazy things they want you to do. There are major things that go on this company that go against all ethics that should be instilled within a company. Their main goal when hiring someone is to sell them the dream. Once an employee comes into the company- they quickly realize how upper management tries to overwork them with NO pay. There are no benefits, they promise stock options but then have every excuse in the book as to why they will not offer you it. The point of someone going into a startup is because they expect to have this benefit it in hopes that their hard work plays a role in the company's success and they get rewarded. This is a SHAM in their case. The only people that benefit are the people in these larger roles who in turn, have no experience on managing a team. I've seen so many hard workers come and go due to the stress put upon them with no end goal. It is actually sad how high the turnover rate is. All in all, stay away.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We are working to implement initiatives to encourage employees to unplug during the weekends. This kind of shift begins with our managers, so we will also be building in manager training to encourage employees to unplug when they leave the walls of our office. In addition, we have evaluated and made significant changes to our compensation and benefits package. If you’d like to provide further feedback or ways that we could help reward and show appreciation for our employees, please email me at privpro@gopriv.com.
