Pros

At this time in the company it was just a job that paid the bills. The only pros I had were my kids and my work family. There use to be so many pros but not anymore with the new CEO Wei-lei Chong.

Cons

The expect way to much out of the staff. They are fully a corporate daycare now. Back when it was a lot smaller of a company it was wonderful they truly cared about the staff and the kids. Now all they do is cram statistics down the directors throats, pinch penny's to the point where the directors can't even get the proper supplies they need to run the school. Every week there is a new rule coming out or a new check list that makes you do your work multiple times. They ask you to get a list together of what needs fixing in your school and send out multiple people to get a quote on fixing it and then you never see them again and it never gets fixed. There is also new people in corporate every week with new made up job titles. Literally everyone in corporate is from kindercare isn't that strange. How much money are they wasting on paying these people in corporate instead of paying their staff who are the ones actually taking care of the kids? Teachers aren't getting raises nor do they even get Christmas gifts not even a gift card or a cup or anything. That says a lot right there about how much they care for their employees. This company is sinking fast you don't want to be apart of it.

Pros

Wonderful co workers who truly cared about the children. Building relationships was the most rewarding part of the job.

Cons

Unfortunately, my experience ended on a disappointing note after a change in management. Communication from new leadership and the regional director was extremely limited, and concerns were not addressed directly or professionally. It became clear that decisions had been made before transitions were complete, and staff who had been there prior were dismissed for reasons that did not align with previous performance or expectations. The process lacked transparency and professionalism. I believe there is a significant disconnect between upper leadership and day-to-day operations. It would be beneficial for executives to observe how centers are run during normal operations rather than only during scheduled visits and without directors following their every move. This had the potential to be a positive workplace, but leadership practices ultimately made it difficult to succeed.
