      The most toxic place I've ever worked. Seriously considering taking a huge paycut to leave and keep my sanity.

      Pros

      There's a lot of variety. No two shifts are the same. Helping people is rewarding.

      Cons

      Incredibly toxic work environment. People constantly tearing other people down and making disparaging remarks behind others backs. Promotion of terrible people that lack any kind of leadership or integrity. It's not surprising that firefighters are having mental health crises at this department.
