Pros

- gallery space is great, central location with consistent flow of visitors - most international art gallery in the city - exposure to art market trends, high value artworks and clients - can learn new skills and take part in operations and marketing

Cons

- very small team and top down management so must be able to get along - higher up is of difficult character, which is the main reason for very high turnover rate - 6 day work week with only legally minimum amount of off days - must work on weekends and public holidays (PH can sometimes be made-up for at manager’s discretion) - very little career progression opportunity - supposedly high commission rates but sales extremely dominated by higher management
