4 Oct 2022 - Supply Chain in Johor BahruRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Within the supply chain, the departments (Planning, Sourcing, Procurement, Logistics) work along well as the communication between the HoD and Supply Chain Manager continuously engaged with each other. Communication with ENG also good but other department need to improve abit more. The upper management is continuously engaged with middle level managers all the way to the bottom level which is good as 2 way communication.
Cons
Sometimes heavy and repetitive workload due to some departments (Quality, PQE, SQE..) not shouldering their responsibility to ensure it does not repeat. End up other departments have to clean up after them and sometimes even be the one chasing for a change and improvement to the issue which ultimately go out of our job scope and increase our workload. The responsible department need to play a bigger and active role especially if there are issues relating to quality and not let Procurement/Planning be the one coordinating it.
