Pros

One internal recruiter and the external recruiter are very knowledgeable, honest, and forthcoming. Depending on your specific role, there can be a good amount of freedom re work/life.

Cons

Owners are a husband/wife team, who lack consistency, communication skills, and knowledge in how to run a business. They have not and will not invest in their company, but expect business to run and clients' expectations to be fulfilled. Any training discussed in an interview does not happen. Period. The husband would rather be coaching his sons' sporting teams and the wife would rather be a stayhome mom. Neither worked a full week in three months. If you are in business development, you will not see an entire sales process. Meaning...you might bring in business, but because the company operates on a sliding scale, there is too much flexibility. You will also be required to conform to how the owners work schedule; meaning you are required to come in the office in the morning and then in the afternoon after sales calls - regardless of where you are making sales calls and if they will be there or not. Something important is that this company is not willing to change with the times and this makes them "dated". The owners (albeit relatively young in age) are old school in their thinking. For example, many companies are flexible re business attire and dress. Salespeople need to relate to their customers and this starts with appearance - the suit and heels are old fashioned and unreasonable requests. If you are a client seeking temporary staff, know that One Source does not have a way to efficiently search for candidates in a timely fashion. Meaning...everything is done manually. They also have resumes of candidates from over three years ago. The company used to have a system, where one could search candidates quickly, but it cost too much money (annually). Despite little overhead, the company has leased a large office space they cannot afford. The owners began another company in late 2007 that folded within six months. The owners started their staffing company just after 9/11, but this was under a different name. Make whatever assumptions you wish.
