Truly an awful place to work

Pros

There aren't any. Seriously. Everything about working here sucks. There is literally no upside in working for this company.

Cons

* Miniscule pay that they lied about during the interview process * Long hours - I often have to get in at 6am and never leave until 8:30pm, earliest * Kent Collier is neurotic, totally unreasonable and a micromanager (to the point in which he's looking over your shoulder as you're working). He gets indignant and calls you lazy if you leave before 8:30pm, seriously * benefits are awful (something they also lied about during the 30-day interview process)

While we are sorry for the negative experience, we would like to thank you for the feedback provided. We would like to clarify that our normal working hours are from 9am-6pm with the exception certain early and late shift which are shared among our large editorial teams, so that no one has to work more than one of each shift per week. Having these shifts is the best way for our customers to continue to get the information we provide in a timely manner. We would never want any employee to feel they need to work until 8:30pm without a real business purpose. In terms of benefits, we currently offer fifteen vacation days, three personal days, the ability to work remotely twice a month, as well as a sick policy, and meals for those employees that do indeed have to work late shifts. We have competitive health, vision, dental and life insurance plans and a 401k match. In addition, we also offer continued learning programs, frequent employee events and many more perks. Thank you again for your feedback and should there be any additional feedback to provide we encourage you to reach out to our HR representative.

Pros

You generally work with competent people

Cons

Where do I begin? Everything you read (negative) about this company is correct. There are no checks and balances when it comes to management; you often find people in leadership positions who have no clue what they're doing. It's highly likely you'll be hired and fired 6 months later. They've done this to entire teams, twice! CEO is a lunatic. No training, like at all. Firms' strategy is often unclear. I'd like to be honest by saying I am not a disgruntled employee; I wish the firm success. But people must know what they are walking into. Before accepting an offer with this firm, I had multiple offers elsewhere at well-established firms but decided on Reorg due to the possibility of upward mobility. That does not exist here, and I should've believed the reviews on this site.

Reorg is a fast-growing financial intelligence business. We continue to innovate and invest in new products to meet client needs in Asia, EMEA, and Americas. Our culture is developing as we shape our business and hire more analysts and reporters. We're grateful to our committed and expert team members working hard for our clients.

Thanks for taking the time to share your views. We are committed to build a stronger team at all levels. We have a larger team than at any point in our history, and we have welcomed many new talented and experienced people to the business in the last six months. We are in the process of refreshing our values, and we have increased communication through the leadership team meetings and bi-weekly town halls.
