Pros
I gained a lot of work experience early in my career. My department was a pleasure to work with. Time off was generous and flexible.
Cons
During my 5 year employment at OCL I have never seen a raise (not even cost of living), meanwhile administration gave themselves large increases last year. The disproportion of power and salary is discouraging. No relevant training or workshops for my department. Morale is very low and the villagers are restless. Communication is never clear between departments. The system cares about saving face and doesn’t address the needs and concerns of its staff. There is no room for growth at OCL. Many positions are low pay and dead end.
