Pros

Steady 8-5 , M-F schedule

Cons

This company is not sustainable and/or green - In fact, recycling isn’t even encouraged in the workplace. Management is conservative & unwavering (No work from home options). Handling of the Covid Crisis & BLM movement a disaster. Company culture is non-existent. Innovative ideas are not supported. Pay is low & benefits are sub-par, especially PTO. You can do better, folx. No diversity or people of color in Admin (only in entry-level, super-low paying positions).

Pros

Decent benefits: 401k matching, fairly good indiv. (not family) healthcare coverage, some ability to flex time, carries out mission of recycling containers very effectively, neat programs with nonprofit work and reusable bottles.

Cons

Pretty divided culture between conservative and progressive creates some workplace odd moments, family health coverage could be better, poor company transparency and communication, PTO policy is sub-par.

Pros

You get Christmas and Thanksgiving off.

Cons

.30 cent raises every year across the board, whether you did good or bad. no merit based raises Management always talks about training, never follows through with training. Constantly 'under-the-gun' when you are unable to fix a machine that you have never been trained on. Unreasonably expected to be on-site until the machine is fixed regardless of personal lives. 24 hours days are not an uncommon thing. Work culture is hostile, constant drama you cannot get away from. Large business = not family oriented. You are expected to put work as your first major priority over the rest of your priorities. Multiple other issues... Does not promote from within, says you will get a promotion and never follow through. All-talk.
