- Oftentimes Executive Leadership Team can operate in reactionary capacity rather than proactive processes, making changes at very fast pace, sometimes without fully vetting the effects of the change and the people that carry out the execution. This has improved over time, but can create responsibility burdens. - Due to the small size of the company there aren't clear pathways for growth and promotion. In order to progress in career need to have high sense of ownership and direction in job, proposing opportunities and trailblazing the way. For some people this can be very engaging and exciting, growing them in their career the way only a small company atmosphere can, but for some this is a turn off as they want a clear ladder and timeline for progression. Know what you are looking for in a company and consider your needs in order to feel satisfied. - Pay is comfortable but would not qualify it as competitive for most roles, with business leaders favoring investments in ambassadors and compensation plan and definitely in artisan business partners' development before home office employees. It is a socially oriented business though, so this is to be somewhat expected.
